Habari Logistics has been honoured to participate along with its partner organisations in humanitarian missions across Africa. In 2014/2015, in partnership with Fuduric GmBH and MS, we were involved in construction of a secondary school in Moroto Uganda funded by the US government. All across Africa, we continue to be involved in humanitarian projects ranging from construction, transportation of supplies, commodities and food to conflict and post conflict areas in South Sudan, DRC, Chad and Burkina Faso.
The 2014 West Africa Ebola outbreak and most crises across the world with Africa no exception, have awakened us to the fact that humanitarian responses can be called up rather urgently and in very un-predictable fashion. War outbreaks, tsunamis, flood disasters result in relief aid deployment challenges usually in harsh conditions, with difficult to access areas and disaster zones.
The impact is often delayed delivery of foods, medicines, relief supplies, vehicles.
